Duratough® EVO AC Redpath greenhouse film provides a long-life, low-maintenance greenhouse film with great storm / wind resistance and superior UV stability to commercial growers.

Duratough® EVO AC is manufactured with specially designed 7-layer co-extrusion lines. An 8th layer, based on nanotechnology, is added on the surface of the film to confer a very long-lasting anti-dripping effect. This new method has been developed to extend the boundaries of existing technology of greenhouse films. These 8-layer solutions are expected to provide additional benefits to professional greenhouse growers.

Duratough® EVO AC has an excellent service life, and its strength is directly related to its thickness of 210 microns. It offers a small amount of diffusion to aid the spread of light throughout the greenhouse crop, yet still gives a very “clear to the eye” appearance. Duratough® 210 is specified as standard on all Redpath widespan greenhouse designs and sold nationwide.

Duratough® EVO AC is equipped with a non-migratory anti-dripping system that lasts much longer (in fact, the longest lasting anti-drip in the market), thus offering a decisive advantage in humidity management. The anti-condensation feature helps prevent condensation droplets from forming on the greenhouse covers inside surface and thus assists in preventing condensation water-droplets from falling onto the crop below. This feature can substantially reduce the incidence and spreading of crop diseases and fungal growth’s that can cost you valuable time spray use and of course crop production losses.

Duratough® EVO AC allows more light to enter the greenhouse due to its special composition. This becomes even more pronounced when light incidence is low. Duratough® EVO AC is high in light transmission (over 90%) for superior crop growth,

Duratough® EVO AC extruded natural EVA copolymer is “Bumblebee Friendly” – and allows natures natural pollinators to work happily amongst your crop.

Duratough® EVO AC is currently only in 5.5m, 7.5m, 9.2m, and 13.1m standard. These widths may be purchased in any length (5m minimum) and a ‘cut-to-length’ service is offered by Redpath.
