GROCover™ 180um film is specifically used as a greenhouse covering for Single Tunnels where the 5.5m-wide strips span across the Tunnel. Only supplied in 75m long rolls and usually fitted in 15m lengths, where the Film is stretched across the tunnel and buried on each side. Typically, two rolls are required for a standard 50-meter tunnel.

Our standard Tunnel Film is UV-closed, which is sometimes described as an anti-virus additive. It only allows light in from 380nm; below this light spectrum is what insects need to see. If any pollination with insects is used, then you cannot use UV-closed material. When thrips or other insects are a problem, and bees are not needed, then UV closed can be used successfully.

UV closed is especially recommended in red Roses so the petals do not turn black.
