The original Redpath patented design clipping system was used for more than 35 years throughout Australasia.  Lockstrip is also a “self-locking” design that tightens as the wind load on the cladding increases.  The aluminum base is again screwed to the building’s framework, and then the white “insert” and the black locating clip are fitted.  Two inserts are available for the Lockstrip system. One to suit claddings of up to 350 microns (longleg), and one to handle thicker claddings (shortleg).
